Falls Lake - Rollingview - October '09
The second camping trip always is less eventful than the first, mostly because the horrible stories of the first are too utterly gruesome for people to handle, so they come better prepared. We did, however, have some complications. The hike was a fairly easy one, flat and free of most trash. After a morning of hiking everyone is happy to settle down into their campsite. The faster of us settle into a nearly perfect campsite. Soft ground covered in pine needles and with a great path to the lake. After setting up our tents and wondering where everyone else was, we are informed that this is in fact not our campsite and we must move to one with harder ground and less room. It wasn’t all bad, we had a fallen limb that we happily chucked into a fire pit, and we had a grill. After all the tents were set up, we went out to the field and played Frisbee. After a long while of that, it eventually collapsed into a hilarious wrestling match. We slept through a calm night, then we walked to the cars and drove home.
