Troop 461, which is a large and very active troop, is Chartered by Epworth United Methodist Church in Southwest Durham. Scouting strives to give boys the knowledge, skills, and life lessons to help them mature and succeed as they become young adults. Benefits of Boy Scouts: - Make friendships

Troop meetings are held on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM at Epworth United Methodist Church, 3002 University Drive. The registration fee is $50.00 per year which includes Registration with BSA, a subscription to Boys Life Magazine, and yearly dues with the troop. Inquire about scholarships if one is needed.
